Rano Calls on Community Organizations to Collaborate in Advancing Jakarta

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Rano Karno, calls on community organizations to collaborate with the provincial government to succeed in Jakarta's development.

Jakarta is in the process of transforming into the national economic center and a global city

He made this call during his speech at the inauguration of the regional management of the Masyarakat Pagi Indonesia (MPI) Jakarta at the Balai Agung Great Hall, Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday (11/18).

"May MPI Jakarta keep contributing positively and become a partner of the Jakarta government in successfully implementing various programs that build the city," he expressed.

Thus far, they have supported MSMEs in various regions to upgrade their capabilities, helped improve urban environments, and promoted cultural movements to foster unity and harmony in Indonesia.

Thereby, he hoped that the newly inaugurated administrators could implement the MPI program that has been realized in various other regions into Jakarta.

He asserted that the active role of various parties, including MPI Jakarta, is very much needed to support development programs that are oriented towards the welfare of the community and the sustainable progress of Jakarta.

"Currently, Jakarta is in the process of transforming into the national economic center and a global city. Hence, in the future, this city is required to deliver inclusive, sustainable development that can respond to the dynamic needs of the community," he concluded.

"Let's synergize, because Jakarta cannot do it alone; it requires collaboration between us," he said.
